After breakfast sightseeing tour of Dharamshala. Proceed to visit Mcleodganj; a holy city in Dharmshala, Tsuglagkhang monastery (also known as Dalai Lama complex), Anglican church; built in 1852, it is final resting place of Lord Elgin (Viceroy of India), Bhagsunath Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, Dal lake & the cricket stadium. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel in Dharmshala.
After breakfast excursion to Palampur (35km / 1 hrs. one way). Palampur, the name is derived from Palum, means lot of water. It is also known for its vast spread of lush Tea Gardens. Proceed to visit the Tea gardens. Later drive to Baijnath (16 km). The place got its name from ancient temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. Built in 13th century, it is dedicated to Lord Shiva as Vaidyanath ‘Lord of physicians’. After visiting temple, return back to Dharamshala visiting Chamunda temple en-route, legends has that the Goddess has fought devils here. Afterwards continue drive to Dharamshala. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel.
After breakfast drive to Delhi (470 km / 10 Hrs. approx.). On arrival transfer to airport / railway station for you onward journey.
