On arrival at Leh airport, our Best India Trip representative will meet and transfer to hotel. After check in at hotel, Ladakh at a high altitude of 11500 Ft. Ladakh range and the Zanskar range Evening free for leisure for an acclimatization. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.
Breakfast at hotel, full day excursion to visit Shanti Stupa and Thiksey and Hemis monasteries. It is quite interesting to visit the Thicksey monastery early in the morning to witness the “praying ceremony”. Also visit one of the biggest monasteries of Leh “Hemis”. On the way back visit Shey Palace. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.
After an early breakfast we drive to NUBRA VALLEY leads through KHARDUNG-LA-PASS (the highest motorable road in the world) at 18,390 ft, around 39kms from Leh.
Nubra Valley is popularly known as Ldorma or the valley of flowers. It is situated to the North of Ladakh between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges of the Himalayas. Overnight at the camp / resort
Breakfast and then drive to Pangong Lake by shayok valley, en-route you will visit different valleys. Dinner and overnight at the camp/hotel.
Morning at leisure to explore the beauty of lake and later we drive back to Leh Enroute visiting Thiksey an impressive complex rising tier upon tier on a hill above the village & Shey, The ancient capital of Ladakh. Drive further to Leh and check in at our hotel for Overnight stay.
Post breakfast we check out from Hotel and drive to Kargil en-route visiting Lamayuru monastery. After visiting the monastery we drive straight to Kargil over Fatu-la [13,489 ft.] which is the highest pass on Srinagar – Leh road. Overnight at Hotel
Breakfast at hotel, after timely transfer to airport for your onward journey.
