Itinerary

Day 1Arrive Delhi (Flight: TBA) (No Meals)

Arrive at Delhi International Airport. Please clear immigration and visa formalities, collect your baggage and proceed to the arrival lounge through the green channel. Our executive will wait at the arrival hall with a placard in your name to greet you. Thereafter you will be assisted with a transfer and check in at the hotel. Stay overnight at hotel in Delhi.

Day 2Delhi (B)

Morning after breakfast visit Jama masjid – One of the Architectural gift given by Shah Jahan, Jama Masjid is one of the largest mosques not only in Delhi but in India. Completed in 1658 this Mosque has three gateways, four angle towers and two 40 m high minarets. You can enter the mosque but take precaution to take off your shoes and make sure that you are properly dressed before entering. One can also go to the top of minarets. From here you can have a bird’s eye view of Delhi. Drive pass the Red Fort. While driving back to New Delhi visit Raj Ghat – a memorial that is dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi. The ghat is located in the banks of River Yamuna. It is a black marble platform that is built at the spot of cremation of Mahatma Gandhi, the father of the nation. Afternoon visit of New Delhi which will include photo opportunities at some of the following attractions – the exterior of the Parliament, the War Memorial Arch (India Gate) and residence of the President House of India in New Delhi. Conclude your day with visit to 72 meter high Qutub Minar; being one of the most important landmarks of Delhi, with calligraphically decorated interiors and also inscriptions of verses of the Holy Quran. Day 3Delhi – Agra (approx. travel time 04hrs) (B)

Morning after breakfast travel to Agra. Agra, home to India’s most famous landmark, the Taj Mahal. A poem of white marble, the Taj is described as the most extravagant monument ever built for love. On arrival check in at hotel. Later visit Taj Mahal (closed on Fridays), a UNESCO Heritage Site, undisputedly one of the world’s most beautiful buildings. The epitome of love, stands on the banks of the river Yamuna built in the 17th century by the Mughal Emperor Shahjahan. The white marble building changes its hue with the variations in the daylight. Made entirely of white marble and decorated with exquisite pietra dura (stone inlay) work, different types of precious and semi-precious stones were used in the intricate inlay work done on the interiors. This magnificent monument is built around a Charbagh or ’four garden’ plan, split by watercourses— reflects the influence of Persian architectural style… an exquisite image that you’ll remember forever. After that visit of the Agra Fort, built in the year 1573 by Emperor Akbar, which is a mixture of the Islamic and Hindu styles of architecture. The fort remained as the main residence of the emperors belonging to the Mughal dynasty until the year 1638. The fort houses numerous impressive structures like the Jahangir Mahal, Khas Mahal, Diwan-i-Khass, Diwan-i-Am, Machchhi Bhawan and Moti Masjid. Evening visit handicraft & textile industry and then visit Govt. approve shops for souvenirs or gifts for friend or family, Agra is known for its fabulous marble-made handicrafts and soft stone inlay work. Day 4Agra – Jaipur (approx. travel time 05hrs) (B)

Morning after breakfast travel to Jaipur. En-route visit of Fatehpur Sikri an outstanding example of Mughal architecture and a UNESCO World Heritage site. The perfectly preserved red sandstone buildings consist of palaces, courtyards, a life-size chess board, tombs and mosques. Visit the Diwan-e-Khas with its remarkable central pillar. Also unmissable is Panch Mahal, the five storied structure used as the viewing station for the harem. After visit continue travel to Jaipur, the first planned city of India, is a treasure-trove of culture, art and history, famous for its colour, life style and Rajasthani cuisine. Day 5Jaipur (B)

Morning after breakfast excursion to Amber Fort, is the chance to ride an elephant up the hill to the main entrance. The ancient capital of Jaipur state and the majestic palace complex to witness a unique system of air-conditioning of 17th century. The fort presents a fascinating blend of Hindu and Muslim architecture. It is built using red sandstone and white marble. While driving back to city photo stop at Jal Mahal. Day 6Jaipur – Jodhpur (approx. travel time 06hrs) (B)

Today you will experience the feeling of travelling back in time with a journey to Jodhpur, while you catch a glimpse of the splendour and magnificence of this ancient desert city built on the edge of the Thar Desert. Day 7Jodhpur (B)

Morning after breakfast visit Mehrangarh Fort; one of the largest forts in India, the beauty and grandeur of numerous palaces inside narrates a saga of hard sandstones yielding to the chisels of skilled Jodhpuri sculptures and to enter, seven gates have to be crossed. A collection of musical instruments, palanquins, furniture and cannons on the forts ramparts are well preserved. After that visit the royal cenotaph Jaswant Thada – This white marbled architecture is a memorial site of a Rajput clan. This cenotaph was built in the 19th century by Maharaja Sardar Singh in the memory of his father, Maharaja Jaswant Singh II, the 33rd Rathore ruler of Jodhpur. Evening explore the Old city & Clock tower market. Surrounded by a 10km long wall, has 8 gates serving as entrances, the winding streets offer colourful street markets with blue houses alternated with white houses. Day 8Jodhpur – Udaipur (approx. travel time 06hrs) (B)

Morning after breakfast transfer to airport to board the Private Charter flight to Udaipur. Often referred to as the ‘Venice of the East’, the city of lakes Udaipur is located around azure water lakes and is hemmed in by lush green hills of Aravallis. The famous Lake Palace, located in the middle of Lake Pichola is one of the most beautiful sights of Udaipur. It is also home to Jaisamand Lake, claimed to be the second largest man-made sweet water lake in Asia. On arrival at Udaipur airport transfer to hotel and check in. Day 9Udaipur (B)

Morning after visit of City Palace & its complex. The City Palace boasts of the wonderful blend of Medieval, European and Chinese Architecture and has various towers, domes and arches, which add to the flavour of heritage site. Later visit Jagdish Temple, dating back to 1651 AD, it is an exquisite example of Indo Aryan architecture. In the afternoon enjoy a boat ride on Lake Pichola, is an artificial fresh water lake, created in the year 1362 AD, named after the nearby Picholi village. Two islands, Jag Niwas and Jag Mandir are located within Pichola Lake and have been developed with several palaces to provide views of the lake. Evening visit the Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir, an Indian folk arts museum which has interesting exhibits that include folk’s dresses, ornaments, puppets, masks, dolls, folk’s musical instruments, folk deities. Later explore on your own visiting the numerous shops that dot the narrow windings streets of Udaipur for souvenir to take back home. Stay overnight at hotel in Udaipur.

Day 10Udaipur – Mumbai (Flight: TBA) (B)

Morning after breakfast start your sightseeing of Mumbai. We start with the famous monument, the main tourist attraction in Mumbai, the Gateway of India is decked with four turrets and its yellow basalt stone structure has delicate latticework carved in it. Stands the rich and famous Royal Taj Mahal Hotel. Listed next on your trip is the exclusive Prince of Wales Museum (Closed on Monday). Then, you will catch a glimpse of the other famous buildings of Mumbai as we drive you past the University of Bombay, High Court of Bombay and Crawford Market. You will also visit the esteemed Gandhi Memorial Museum (Mani Bhavan) and the religious Jain Temple. Recognized as the world’s largest outdoor laundry, the Dhobi Ghat is exclusive to the city of Mumbai. Evening around 4 – 5 PM we will take you to the beautiful Marine Drive, popularly known as the Queen’s Necklace.
